Neofetch is a command-line system information tool. I really like it, I wrote about it earlier. Yesterday a new major version, 6.0.0 has been released.
New features is Neofetch 6.0
- Added support for command output. You can now use whatever terminal commands you like as the ASCII art.
- Added a new “simple” mode. You can now use neofetch for scripting by getting it to output individual info functions in plain text.
- Added new image backend chafa (
--chafa) which displays images in the terminal using unicode characters.
Apart from these new features it also fixes many bugs from previous versions. See a complete changelog here.
