Apps Made For elementary OS

I’ve collected a number of apps which works and looks really well in elementary OS. These are apps which are not installed by default, but they seem like native elementary apps, they adopt the elementary HIG (Human Interface Guidelines) and their developers promoted these on channels belonging to elementary. Calculator for elementary OS

Fast and beautiful GTK3 Calculator completely written in Vala. The UI is rather simple, but scientific functions and mathematical constants can be typed in. It has a history functionality for the current session and clipboard support.

Power Installer

Power Installer for elementary OS

Power Installer is an open source application written in GTK+ and Vala, that helps you install basically everything on Ubuntu-based distributions… Debian files, automaticly executing commands, executing scripts, python files and more.

Installation on elementary OS Freya:

sudo add-apt-repository -y ppa:donadigo/power-installer && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install -y power-installer

Installation on other Ubuntu-based distributions (14.04 – 15.04):

Go For It! for elementary OS

Go For It! is a simple and stylish productivity app, featuring a to-do list, merged with a timer that keeps your focus on the current task. The application’s workflow is described in the following video:

Envelope for elementary OS

Personal budget application for the Elementary OS desktop. It is written in Vala and uses the Granite framework.

Squeegee for elementary OS
It’s a cleaner application for elementary OS, also knows as cCleaner. It’s under heavy development.

A minimalist and powerfull radio player for elementary OS.

NaSC for elementary OS

Its an app where you do maths like a normal person. It lets you type whatever you want and smartly figures out what is math and spits out an answer on the right pane. Then you can plug those answers in to future equations and if that answer changes, so does the equations its used in.

It’s a simple little noise generator. It plays white, pink, and red (brownian) noise.

This theme is a community maintained addition to elementary OS’s default icon theme. It contains icons for several third party applications that resemble elementary OS’s style.
